Family Farm Awards Night 2017

Objective

• To recognize outstanding farm families who best typify the value of the family farm. 

Purpose

• To focus on Agriculture in the Battlefords.
• To increase awareness of the ideals of agriculture and the opportunities of rural citizenship.
• To promote a relationship between urban and rural people.  

The Winning Family will be Honored During our Evening Out for Farmer’s and Friends
On March 11, 2017. In the event that no applications are submitted, there will not be an award.

Guidelines for Selection

• Select a family deserving recognition for both agricultural and community involvement.
• The family must be an active farm family unit where agriculture is the major source of income.
• The farm family is considered as the immediate family actively farming.

Equal consideration to be given to the family’s role in agriculture and to their community involvement. Deadline For Application Is: February 24, 2017
